Comments Thread For: David Lemieux Will Likely Return in February or March

A bad year for middleweight contender David Lemieux (25-2, 24KOs) On Saturday in Montreal he suffered his second defeat in a row. After getting knocked by Marco Antonio Rubio in April, Lemieux lost a twelve round split decision to Joachim Alcine on Saturday. Promoter Yvon Michel is planning to bring Lemieux back in either February or March of 2012. Regarding Alcine, Michel and promoter Lou DiBella are going to co-promote the boxer with a 50/50 split.

Typical NSB no-brain response: either you're an ATG or "you suck ass." There's no middle ground here...

Lemieux's a young guy and still developing into a fghter, he can work out flaws in the gym and get himself back into the picture next year..

Well said. It was a good learning fight. Nothing wrong with a couple of losses for a young fighter. They learn more from them than a dozen quick blowouts.

I´m sorry but Lemieux just doesn´t have a genuine fighter per****acity imo, he can correct all the technical flaws but it will be lost time. Not everybody is born to be a fighter.
