Peterson's manager actually denied this and doesn't know why Khan's people continue to spread this info. That maybe a confirmed date on HBO or the MGM Grand, but with Peterson's camp.

I Don't think Khan is going to move up without the belts ....

The belts are leverage for both Khan & Peterson, but Peterson has all the leverage he needs to make Khan submit to every wish and demand. If Team Khan & GBP don't bend to demands, then Peterson can go after a unification fight and still turn a nice profit. While at the same time burning Khan in the process.

IMO Peterson would be smart to make some money with the belt before exposing it to Khan again.

Khan doesn't deserve a rematch. He didn't give it to Maidana. Peterson would have to defend his titles and wait. Now it could be not so easy for Khan to pick his opponents, and he could well be defeated in the interim.

I'm happy for Peterson, showed class at the end, but unfortunately also showed straight up American bull**** by saying Khan should have eben docked more points.
