roach was always a good match maker and a terrible coach take his fighters into deep water and he'll drown with them.

He has done a great job with Linares, Chavez Jr., and Khan. Although some of the lost their fight, they look great.

The only one who looked ugly is Pacquiao.

I completely disagree with this post.

Roach took Khan in after he was KO'd by Prescott. Even before Khan was KO'd by Prescott, I think he was dropped a few times in other fights. Fact of the matter is, Roach improved Khan's game a lot, regardless of the loss last night.

Roach has done the same for Manny and a few other fighters. In fact, Roach was part of Mayweather's only SD win in his entire career.

To say Roach is crap because one of his fighters lost a SD isn't the smartest thing to say.

I hate that this is how the game is today. One loss and you're garbage. IMO Roach is a damn good trainer but he is overrated. I bet 99% of this board doesn't know what it takes to train a fighter and what to tell a fighter during a fight. They think it's easy but it isn't.

He's never been that good to begin with. Just listen to his so called instructions in between rounds. Horrible just horrible.

I'm not ready to say that these fighter's losses are a reflection of Roach's coaching just yet, but I did notice that his instructions between round were particularly garbled last night. Hope he's in ok health.

When you guys are going to realize that Parkinson affects more than speech and nerve system. They cant think straight. His brain doesnt work the same way. IMO, he should retire. He shouldnt been training and taking all stress that is not helping him a bit.
