Khan lost because he doesn't have an inside game and any decent pressure fighter would fancy their chances against him. Peterson was walking through his punches all night.
Cosign, what do you think Timmy would do?

bradley would murder khan.........the thing is if you think peterson slipped a lot of khans shots, bradley would be slipping them in his sleep. bradley is more aggressive, much more athletic, & has a better work rate vs peterson. he also doesn't get tired over 12 rounds like khan & peterson............

      suicidal match up for khan...........

Khan fights still like an amateur with speed. He throws a combo and moves away, he also slaps alot. He has no inside game and all he does is put his hands up and waits, dumb move.

I give him credit for taking punches and fighting spirit but he is not on the top tier of fighters.

The logic isn't right here, you don't really have to count the point's deductions to offset the phony KD, because the KD was phony and the pointd deductions were legit. Still, in adding up the scoring it makes the math come out the same as the judges.......

I think Peterson deserved his win and don't think he should either give Khan an immediate return, or fight in England, where they'll be gunning for him. Khan will do a little "shoeshining" and the ref will jump in and stop the fight at first opportunity.

              Wrong.

Khan loss because he continuously did what the ref told his ass not to do.

Resulting in 2 points being taken away.

              Score card..... 113-112 Peterson.

Add 2 points. Khan wins 114-113.

He loss because he kept being ******.

I also felt Khan gave too many rounds away and let Peterson build momentum by standing there with his gloves up for long periods of time and letting Peterson wale on him.

No excuse for that and with Khan dipped under and got in the center of the ring, he was actually winning pretty decisively.

BTW people bring up Khan not being able to fight in the phone book, but that in itself isn't an issue per say. He has the quickness to spin off the ropes and avoid that type of fight, so I really don't see that as a major weakness.

The ref was too loud in my eyes.

Correct me if i am wrong but break out of it is confusing.

Break word obviously makes you think stop.
This is why the ref took no points for Amir holding his head down (EVEN THOUGH HE COULD HAVE). Pete wasn't going low enough to get points taken away. Amir was just whining so much he felt obligated to warn Pete. You can't let a guy control a fight with illegal tactics.

Not being able to in-fight or fight in the phone booth is a weakness, or else Khan would have T'd off on Peterson when he (Khan) was on the ropes just eating bomb after bomb.

Khan lost to Peterson because he wasn't fully up to the challenge. It was a great fight I thought, but a champion defending his name and the titles doesn't need a gift from the judges because he's the champ for a reason. The champ goes out and he wins, he always finds a way to win because he's the champ.

In a close title fight I go against conventional wisdom and say, it's not just for the challenger to take it; it's up to the champion to defend it.
