    I see a correlation between Khan/Peterson and Dirrel/Froch

Man people are complaining of the outcome, most of which are our brothers across the pond.

but many of them regarded Froch the winner because of his pressure, while Dirrell ran.

but yet turn the tune with the fight last night.

I had a draw last night and the point deductions gave the fight to Peterson

But if you havent noticed a trend in modern scoring...the pressure/volume fighter generally wins a close decision

We all keep screaming robbery but the judging has been consistent to award the fight to a pressure volume puncher

granted it was a title fight...but Khan should have made NO question to his victory.....that was his own fault

Did you just try and compare the pressure and success that Peterson had against Khan to that of Froch against Dirrell?

        FWIW,

I could give a crap about making excuses for Brit fighters, but rounds in Froch-Dirrell were far more open to interpretation than the rounds we saw last night.

There was a certain clarity to the action last night. All the rounds were very easy to score.

          I can agree with that.

Last nights fight was far more entertaining than the Froch fight

my point is...you go to a hometown fight you better bring some pressure.

even though Khan was boxing...the refs are looking at work rate and willingness to engage.

i was simply pointing out this year....judging has been consistent on pressure fighting winning close fights
