Khan is a good fighter, but he definately has a problem with pressure. a simple uppercut and looping hooks get through his guard. he didnt look to counter in most of those situations and he wasnt being effective with his feet. he was just retreating to get the hell away from Lamont. theres a way to be effective and move around but Khan wont have success against pressure fighters until he figures out a new way of dealing with them.
That's the sad truth though, he can't handle pressure fighters effectively. Things like that separate the good from the great and Khan is nowhere near great.
The more fights you watch the more you appreciate what Mayweather does in the ring or fighters of that caliber for that matter.
Khan looked like a headless chicken out there - just clueless.
He literally ran and it was ugly. I clearly remember a sequence where he ran to the other side of the ring scared as Lamont RAN after him. It wasn't like retreating fast or anything, it was like full running.
He threw a left hook after that sequence.
Khan did not run and not throw. He ran and threw.
Peterson stuck his head low a lot. No way Khan headlocks Peterson without Peterson being low. People ****ting on Khan for head locks but when the man bends that low what else do you do?
