After christmas, regardless if the fight is in March or not he needs to work on his inside game and how to clinch properly, would completely nullify Peterson then.
Freddie needs to get Khan right back in the gym

thing is freddie doesnt kno how to teach inside game. not one fighter he trains has any inside game. he would have to contract out for that one. -
I don't think Freddie's the right trainer to teach him that. I don't think he could even. It's not in his repitoire, or he would have done so already. Someone like Pedro Diaz would be perfect, even though he doesn't have much pro experience.Comment

Exactly my point. Ariza has been the main force behind Khan's comeback since the Peterson loss. BUT Roach gets all the praise. I think it's time Khan finds a new trainer if he wants a chance against the Ortizs, Bradleys and Bertos of the world. Let's not even talk about Mayweather. Because if he thought Peterson was tough, the road ahead clearly is near impossible to get through.Comment

If Khan wants to improve his inside, he won't learn it from Roach, nor will his defense. Khan has the same flaws as Pacquiao does, IMO.
One thing you must credit Wlad for is that he is a master at dictating distance and range, as a way to conceal his lack of in fighting. Khan has yet to do this.
It's also worth pointing out IMO that Khan's three toughest fights-Prescott, Maidana, Peterson-were all against opponents who share similar dimensions in terms of height and(or) reach.Comment

Pacquiao, Khan, Kayode, Rodela, Quillin kinda does but meh. Like none of his fighters really excel at that. The current state of boxing really isn't conducive to a strong inside game though. Breaks are usually much more common than they were in the Khan-Peterson fight.Comment
