Hopkins fought the best fight he could last time (slow early rounds, still landing but not much, rally in late rounds), the judges took it away from him, his only hope is counterpunching he's not going to be the agressor, doesn't work for his style and it def won't work on taylor becuz he is younger and fresher and will throw more punches.

I know he said he was going to retire after he hit 40 and he is almost 41.

yeah, he wanted 2 fights, the rematch, then another..who will it be, well if he wins, and he will, possibly Wright, but Wright will dodge him, guaranteed..mayb Lacy but doubt it...if he loses, him and RJJ should fight, and they should call it"Retirement of Legacies"

off subject but i would like to see jermain taylor fight lacy, taylor has to move up to super mid before long he is to big to fight at 160 for many more fights. they are both wild punchers with strenght behind them. i see them throwing themselves all over the ring until one of then lands one of those big wild rights. my guess would be lacy by a late inaccurate ko.

Hopkins can't fight the same fight again, slow start and lose rounds, then hope to KO Taylor. If he tries to use more energy in the early rounds, he will be gassed later and won't be able to win the majority of the later rounds. Not good for Hopkins.

I don't think it's in his game plan, but come out really fast and try to KO Taylor before round 6 seems to be his best chance. Give Taylor something he doesn't expect.

If the fight is near even and goes the distance, the judges will give it to the younger guy with a future ($$$). That's just the way this works, not just for Taylor-Hopkins but all the time.

Its a really close match up.

The last bout they had, a lot of people were saying that Hopkins won it. The fact Taylor won it goes to show the fine line between success and failure. I will predict a late TKO or UD for Taylor. It will go down to the wire i think, but psychologically, of course, Taylor has the advantage. He has won the last fight and i think this will deeply affect the game plan that Hopkins used last time. Hopkins obviously chose the most comfortable fight plan for him in the first bout. The fact that he is going to have to change it may also influence the outcome.

But basically, its a Taylor win for me.

I think Taylor is going to win it again. He knows he won once and knows he can do it again.

Yeah exactly. If he can do it once he can definetly do it again. He has the edge, as i mentioned in my last post. But also Hopkins is not shot by any means. He can still win, and quite convincingly in my opinion.

Having said that, i just see it going the same way as Jones-Tarver. Tarver winning consecutively, and therefore Taylor winning consecutively.
