Bad Patch Of Results for British Boxing

Murray lost to Rios as expected, the other Murray got a draw against Strum which I thought he did enough to win, Del Boy got blatently robbed in Finland and now Khan loses a close fight in DC with the help of the ref not looking too good for our fighters.........hope Froch can pull one back next week

I think it's going to be a clean sweep of "losses" for our british fighters.

I dont know man i think the Brits have some credit right now, Ricky Burns schooled Katsidis when he was supposed to get flattened, John Murray did far better than expect vs Rios, Sturm was lucky vs Martin Murray who was a huige underdog coming in (i scored a draw), Del Boy was the underdog vs perhaps the third best HW in the world (not for me) and he got jobbed bad.

Khan i thought held Peterson to a draw but im not complaining. He was away from home and many think he did enough even with the deductions which many are questioning...

Cobra is up against it but he has a shot, guys all fighter and has a great attitude to the game - if only all fighters were made like Froch (mentally i mean)

      UK Boxing is doing fine

Great result for Burns however if he'd stuck it out at the weight I think Broner had his number. The Cobra's 34 now so he dosen't have many fights left in the tank just dont see how he can pull it off against Ward still I hope I'm wrong.

We dont really have too many fighters at the elite level, Kel Brooke has the potential to be great but it remains to be seen once he moves up in competition. I had high hopes for Degale but the problem is our young talented fighters are all being fast tracked to Euro or world level way too soon more my liking

Chunky is a star in the UK, even if he isnt the most popular - guys like that get hated on for fighting BUMS and TOMATO CANS by our public when infact they are developing and learning gradually...

I'll tell u who is gonna be Elite - Scott Quigg. High Hopes for that boy

Well two robberies and expected loss...not the end of the world, those guys will be back.

Let's hope Froch can do it, but I have a feeling he's going to be 'jobbed' too, either by the ref or judges...watch.

Quiggy is definitely a prospect to keep an eye he ripped the British SBW title off Booth in great fashion, hope he can push on from here. Chunky's a great talent he just needs to stay on his game and a change in trainer would do him good imo just feel he's being fast tracked talking about a world title shot in your 12th or 13th fight is just silly especially since he struggled in his last outing at European level. Ideally both James and Groves need atleast 20 fights before they're ready imo.

Ward is a tremendous talent he's already on my P4P list I think he'll be the face of boxing sooner than later. Although I'll be rooting for Froch like you said the smart money's on Ward.

Yeah they'll be back for sure even though the Khan fight might have lost us a super fight next year still think that fighters might actually fancy there chances against him who knows maybe Bradley has a change of heart if he thinks Amirs there for the taking.

Froch's been talking about knocking him out and if he actually dose what he's saying the ref or judges cant do 5hit. personally think Ward is something special but damn if Carl wins that'll make my Christmas I Miss the Lennox and Joe days
