wifey and i went last night to that ***** venue and had a blast. peterson fought simply like a man who needed to get that win and man, did he ever deliver. peterson worked that body like a champ! got to talk to hunter after the fight and dude was just on cloud nine. it was real good to see the bald eagle / joy evans / head ****ers camp get this awesome win, watching the replay right now with hunter's corner work, wow, did hunter say ALL the right things all the time or what? peterson isn't the holmes, joppy or mitchell type of DC fighter he's a true champ with class and substance. i love the ****en dude because he fights like a spanish cat; nothing but success to him and anthony in the future. i tell you from first hand account, these dudes deserved this last night. got to talk with some of khans people who were just ****en astonished that wifey and i weren't there for khan. man did that dynamic change when they announced the winner. steve francis after the fight, who wasn't sitting too far from me and was either blazed or drunk off his @ss was R I P P I N G khan's camp and david haye something vicious after their classlessness started soon after the decision. dude had us rolling, hard. anyway, DC people don't know how to celebrate a fighter, it's sad, really. wifey and i were the only one's after the fight screaming stuff like "AND NEW!" and then outside trying to get it started - nothing. we tried to bring a pr / persian thing to the dc boxing scene and nothing. oh, and met broner, i thought i really liked this dude before, now i'm just a fan boy. took pics w/ the punisher, another good ****en dude. great great great night for the fights.

baya, you was too close, my dude. In the back it was crazy hype. I think some didnt celebrate like they shouldve because I think alot of people felt that Lamont fought well & did the city proud but came up just a lil short so they werent expecting him to get the decision. They knew it was close but I think alot of them felt he was just a lil short with it.

I was the last person to leave out of my section and I heard some people screaming "and the new". Everybody was swinging there hands in excitment the whole fight. I was telling people around me like "this is a good ass fight" and all of them were like "hell yeah".

I was standing on the side for the first few fights but then I moved to the back where I actually sat in someone elses seat where the view was so clear. It was just a great atmosphere. Going to see Ricardo Williams fight in Oklahoma on Thursday
