Doubt it. Oscar and Hopkins were livid. However, the ref was bias. Petterson push as much as Khan.

Please.....Khan was mugging Peterson by holding his head down all night and elbowing dude in the face. Khan was in over his head and he knew it.......he took a page from the Mayweather book of cheap tricks.

B-Hop said before the fight that Khan should give Peterson +2 before the first bell is rung. He was right on the money.

Man good ass fight Khan shoulda won... rounds 8-12 competitive as hell but Khan was throwing and landing more combos...

silly, Khan fights dirty, he keeps pushing opponents and he pushed Peterson's head down whole night, just like in the Maidana fight but there Cortez was blind

I cant think of any fight that I've seen where the ref actually deducts not one but two points for pushing, warnings yeah but to actually cost another figher especially a unified champ his belts for pushing is BS. Lamont was also pushing Khan against the ropes every single time but hey it is what it is.

This BS could have cost us of a super fight next year

Once I fully recover...lol, I think I might take the DVD I made of the fight (I do one for every event) and break it down into an avi file so that I can crop out all the instances of Khan holding Peterson's head down.....I bet I can get at least 5 minutes worth of it from the head pushing alone.

It got disgusting in there, to the point I was caring more about that stuff than the actual fight in the ring.

One point was taken for pushing, other point was taken for punching after the ref break. But Peterson deserved the win anyway.
