The ref didn't do a bad job, Khan doesn't know how to listen!!

IMO a good ref shouldn't be seen, nor heard. . . unless a fighter is blatantly fouling the guy, he should let the ebb and flow of the fight proceed. . . ESPECIALLY in a close fight. . . to me it was obvious the ref was doing everything he could to give peterson the fight.

khan threw a mean uppercut too after the break. amir wasn't going to get away with his usual antics no not this time. joe cooper wasn't going to lay down for nobody.

Why didn't Peterson get warned once for pushing as well because he was doing it just as much to back Khan against the ropes.
He also warned Peterson just as much for not keeping his head up and also didn't say **** when Lamont was holding khan with his Jab.
I'm not a Khan fan, nor did I give a **** about either fighter, but I can't believe posters are making excuses for that b.s. ref job last night......pathetic.

The amount of fouls Khan committed last night aren't even comparable to the fouls Peterson committed.
I love how you some of you guys are trying to put this on the ref, If Khan doesn't push guess how many points he gets deducted, "0".
You trying to compare the few times Lamont pushed on the ropes, to the constant pushing Khan did everywhere in the ring, that's pathetic.

I'm a little iffy on the point deductions, but I certainly don't think they were wrong. He was warning him a lot.
I was very happy with the ref, because it's not very often you see a ref that lets fighters fight out of clinches. Khan clearly hasn't had refs like that very often, he kept waiting for the ref to break them up while Peterson was pounding away.

I didn't even count all pocket holding warning that Khan got, which probably go into the 20+ and all the pushing he didn't get warned about which would've taken this into 15+ warnings just for pushing.
Khan brought that on himself, he's mad because he couldn't get away with the stuff he's use to getting away with. Back to the drawing, show'em how not to push and hold constantly, Roach. If you do hold Khan, be sneaky about it, don't make it so blatant.
khan cant fight for **** on the inside and resorts to blatant grappling 100% of the time. pushing, holding and even headlocking peterson in order to stop the fight from happening. the ref couldve DQ'ed him ffs, so the two points werent unfair at all.
great job by peterson who won this fight fair and square and was clearly the better man. im just mad i didnt bet on it like i planned to. wouldve been 160$ richer if i did.
