Amir Khan to 147, A big mistake?????

Lamont Peterson who is not the biggest puncher in the 140 division clearly was able to land effective body punches forcing Amir to run all fight, could be making a big mistake moving up in weight. Thoughts????

Mistake or not, it might be the best choice for him physically, he's not getting any smaller. The only reason he'd stay at LWW for a few rematches he owes.

      No.

Amir had problems with the constant pressure, not so much the size.

Name me one fighter at 147 who puts on constant pressure. Exactly, .

Freddie Roach is trying to make Khan fight like Pac, except he don't have the power to keep mofos off him.

It's like every other Khan fight is turning into Cotto-Margarito 1.

I think Lamont's body punches weren't really able to slow Khan's roll. Otherwise he wouldn't have been running around till the end. Granted Peterson has feathers in his fists. I think it would be a mistake but mostly because at 147 there will be fighters who will be physically stronger than him and will actually illegal push him back.

He could always beat up Devon Alexander.

Berto, Ortiz, Brook give him big problems.

              No, they don't man.

Apart from Mayweather/Pacquiao, it's that little ****er Bradley that gives Amir the most problems.

**** you guys must not follow Amir's career.

He moves to 147 you can bet your ass it will be to fight a couple guys who can't crack an egg. He stays at 140 he will be forced to face some big hitters and bad style matchups if he wants to remain relevant.

147 as a whole is a weak division, Khan easily beats Brook, Jones, and he'll have problems with but COULD probably overcome both Berto and Ortiz.

agree...IMO 140 to 147 has got to be one of the hardest jumps in boxing division,,,you must make adjustments in your game because of the bigger and stronger fighters ..
