(First off I wanted Khan to win and I'm a Khan fan)

Peterson fought how a a challenger should fight for a world title. He went in there and tried to TAKE the title. I was really dissapointed Khan didn't give more credit to Peterson in his post fight interview and I'm happy for Peterson because I think he wanted it more and really bullied Khan in there.

In hindsight this should be could for Khan because it highlighted several weaknesses. He moves it straight lines, leans with his punches and leaves himself open far too often, Marquez, Mayweather etc would have had him out of there at certein points. I also think he needs to realise this isn't the ametures anymore and every now and then in the pro game your going to find yourself getting roughed up, Khan just wasn't strong enough inside and couldn't handle Peterson's pressure. Khan could win a rematch no doubt but he needs to take this loss on the chin go away and work on some of his flaws and no I don't doubt he could come back better but to me he's still making the same mistakes he was 12 months ago.

khan had a shot but i think he underestimated peterson from jump. Peterson has always been a boxer first and I think in video session khan just thought that his hand speed would overwhelm peterson. I think the fact that peterson adjusted his game plan during the fight, while khan allowed himself to be manhandled on the ropes cost him dearly.

Interesting fight, im not a fan of either. Khans hand speed and in out combinations impresed me, still he was to reckless in the early going, he doesnt box either, judt runs backwards. Petersons ability to change game plan abd adjyst to khans speed becoming the pressure fighter, that was impressive, as well as his relentless attack to the body. I scored the the knockdown as legit, yeah peterson slipped but only after losing balance from a good left hand by khan. I have to give khan credit, he was fighting two guys up there. I have bever seen a more biased referee ever, from the moment right bfore the bell ranged and I heard the referee yell ok " lets bring the thunda!" I thought wtf khan is in trouble. I counted three times he got in the way of the action, constantly adressed khan for pushing petersons head down but never said anything about petersons low blows, the two points deducted were ridiculous and I noticed he would separate them when clinching in the middle of the ring but would tell khan to fight khan out of it when on the ropes. Of course when on the ropes khan would eat petersons uppuercuts but in the ring it was peterson who couldnt get away from khans three punch combos. It was clearly imo that on a even playing field Amir Khan won that fight by two points, he did more than enough on the last two rds to secure it.

Great fight & wanna see them go at it again!.. I just don't understand & think it's ****** that when ever a World Champ(Title holder) that's trained by Freddy Roach is gonna fight the announcer presents the fighters along with their trainers names..Freddy Roach is a very good trainer, but I think he's being blown out of proportion..Cause Trainers like Nacho Beristaín, Ronnie Shields & Roger & Floyd Sr. Mayweather(just to name a few) are just as good & get NO recognition by the announcer's unless their fighter is fighting a guy trained by Roach..If they are gonna start presenting the fighters along with their trainers, they they ALL should be treated equal & announced every time. NOT only when they fight a guy trained by a certain person..

Hes there ever been a more obviously biased ref...? Respect for Peterson, but his win is definitely tarnished by the corruption of that idiot amateur referee. I mean COME ON.

                Referee

He was a clowun, a joke, no experience referee. The DC commission and the organizations should be ashame to appointed a referee like Mr. Cooper. He should be investigate and suspended from officiating again.

Cong**** to Peterson, he exceeded my expectations. BTW Khan's chin has now convinced me, he took some bombs from Peterson & Maidana.

Khan should have taken the fight to Peterson, instead of trying to coast through too many rounds.

Early on, he was looking good. And after Peterson came back and won a couple, Khan stepped it up occasionally, but not enough. Round 9 was what Khan should have been doing all the middle rounds -- even though Peterson was coming forward and landing tough body shots, Khan still won the round with meaningful combinations.

In the 10th and 11th, too many of Khan's combinations had nothing on them, they were just for show, while Peterson continued to land. Then in the 12th, Khan took control again.

The pushing/holding sets up a controversy that shouldn't matter. Khan put himself in the position where a point one way or the other could decide who takes the belts home. He was trying to get away with pushing and holding, many times per round, very egregiously. Sure the ref didn't handle it well, but how many times did he warn Khan? maybe 50 times through the fight, starting in Round 2.

Peterson isn't good enough to beat Khan; he has the belts because Khan didn't do enough to keep them. We'll see how Khan steps it up in the rematch.

The ref was the winner here I mean we are all taking about him he got what he wanted he shouldn't be allowed to ref again. I never seen a ref trip a fighter in the ring before and the judges took to long to add up their scores I guess they need help in DC with their math or something talk about home ring advantage I would have been happy to see Peterson win but not like that the ref ruined it for me.
