you just discredited and disproved your own argument entirely. if he was hit AS he was going down from a TRIP, that means he was ALREADY going down from a TRIP which means the initial reason for the FALL is a trip and thus it's a trip not a knockdown. thanks for owning yourself

I thought it was close and had Amir ahead by two, but I wouldn't say he was robbed because he was tactically naive, his corner was even worse, and, ultimately, a few rounds were debatable so you won't see me complaining.

        Agreed.

It was a close fight, nothing more, nothing less.

The ref ******, but take the deductions out of the equation and it was still a closely contested bout.

I'm so sick of these halfwits crying "robbery" everytime something doesn't go their way, yet shamelessly dicksucking a fighter when the decision does go their way.

You could say that after Pac/Marquez also, but everybody knew who won that fight too. It is what it is.

Is it so hard to understand that when a ref tells you not to push, then you should NOT push! Khan had no answer to pressure or inside fighting,so he either ran his ass off or he pushed on Lamont's neck,or shoved Peterson off of him. Khan also got a gift point in the first round where he shoved Lamont down with his elbow while he was off balance.

To be warned a million times and finally docked a point is ******,but to further ignore the ref's warnings and push again in the 12th round of a close fight, and then finally hit Lamont when the ref was inbetween them is the icing on Khan's cake.

Khan deserved this loss.Even without the various fouls he engeged with in the fight,he stood on the ropes, took body shots, got punched in the head and ran the entire fight....how the hell does he expect to win with that type of strategy???!!!

exactly, throw both the joke deductions out but also throw the joke 'knockdown' out as it wasn't a knockdown so it mostly evens out and the fact that Khan WAS holding peterson's head nonstop more than makes up for it.

Keep in mind I'm completely unbiased as I have zero horses in this race, i.e. i'm not a particular fan of either Khan NOR peterson and couldn't give 3 ****s less WHO the **** won cus I think they both suck though they both proved warrior hearts, and Khan proved to me he has a monster chin tonight

anybody who THINKS the ref handed Peterson that win should actually be saying Khan handed Peterson the win. He was the one ignoring the ref's commands over and over and over and over about pushing and holding. Frankly Khan was lucky he only got ducked 2 points for failing to follow instructions.

i guess u completely missed out where i said a PUNCH LANDED AT THE SAME TIME!! but its ok i can see how u would overlook that. trip or not its a knockdown cuz he got hit by a punch...u look real dumb for even sayin what u said...let me write this in caps so u understand and dont over look this again! IF U TRIP AND GET HIT BY A PUNCH AS UR GOING DOWN, ITS A KNOCKDOWN...IF U GO DOWN AS A RESULT OF A PUNCH, ITS A KNOCKDOWN. IS THAT CLEAR ENOUGH FOR UR DUMBASS?

Where were Peterson's instructions after 3 lowblows and constant headbutts to the chest?

Only person I saw getting shouted down was Khan. That ref completely ignored Lamont's many illegal moves.

Utter bias. Go watch the fight again if you don't believe me.

It goes both ways. For one no matter how you look at, at the very least 1 point should have been taken away from Khan. Second, that knock down shouldn't have been counted, so the 2nd point deduction equalized everything.

                      So stop bitching guys.
