Does Lamont Peterson score a big fight now?

I called yet again another huge upset, kirkland marquez and now peterson! Lamont showed the heart of a champion, fought the fight of his life and deserved the decision. Khan was warned several times its his own fault. But after this what happens? Bradley rematch. Does he get mentioned for a possible fight with floyd or manny? Does he get a huge fight now since Khan was supposely the next greatest boxer ever after pac floyd aré done. Obviously a khan rematch is huge.

    Bradley beats him again.

I imagine a Khan rematch will happen.

I called this one as well, Khan just doesn't have the stamina (should fire that bum Ariza) and fades certain rounds or literally runs for dear life. It was a close fight though, think a rematch is in order.

Lamont needs a little time off to recover. You can tell he's swelled up.

Rematch with Khan will happen in April 2012.

GoldenBoy will push for it and offer Peterson 60-40 or 50-50. Peterson knows that he'd make more money in a rematch with Khan than with Bradley. Peterson would easily make $1m-1.5m+ in a rematch.

There might be a rematch clause in the contract. And the WBA and/or IBF might demand an immediate rematch like the IBF did with Mares-Agbeko 1. I'm sure Team Khan will file a complaint to the WBA and IBF and also a complaint about the ref.

I wouldnt be suprised if floyd fought Peterson. Khan was next in line for Floyd behind Manny. Kinda like how berto was third best til Ortiz stopped him. I mean i dont care as long as Floyd stays active he needs it. Honestly i think one more fight for both manny and floyd before they fight i think could benefit them as manny lost to marquez again, and the Ortiz fight i dont think lasted long enough for floyd to really shake out the layoff.

I'd take Bradley too. I'm down to see that fight if Khan doesn't want to fight Bradley

A Khan re-match is a pretty big fight.

If Peterson wants a big fight he has to go to England. I dont' see how the rematch becomes a big payday in the U.S, but than again with Hbo they have the money to pay good money for a rematch but i don't expect this to be a ppv. As for the result at worst a draw. Khan has the ability to outbox Peterson from a distance and win easy don't see why he exchanges so much when he could win easier but does make for exciting fights.
