You're day dreaming with stars in your eyes as usual.
And why is it that all you nut huggers keep asking this "Why doesn't Wlad fight Rahman"? question over and over?
King has been looking to get his hands on this title for some time, and has been in a battle with the Klitschkos, who seem to have been doing everything they can to keep it from his.
Why on earth would King turn around after just getting it and allow Wlad to take it?
There is NO WAY that's going to happen.
The only title fight Wlad will get is Brewster or Byrd.
And as much as you'd all drool over him geeting a walk in the park against Byrd (who's got no chance to crack Wlad's chin), Byrd just fought a mandatory in Williamson, so he's not due to have another mandatory enforced right away.
Which leaves Brewster.
If anything, Wlad will get a chance at a rematch with Brewster, which is by far the most dangerous fight for him of anyone that holds a title.
...If you go back to a prior post in this thread you will see that I agree that King would not let this fight happen. I just think it would be a nice fight for boxing fans and one that would legitimize Rahman as champ if he managed to win. He is getting crowned without ever throwing a punch to earn it. Would you or would you not like to see that fight?Comment

Not for Byrd it isn't. If he fights Ruiz (assuming Ruiz wins in December), it's be a nomination for the most pathetic PPV card in history, nobody will watch that crap, I know I won't. If he fights Brewster, he will be KOd and still noone will watch that. His only shot is Rahman but I would not pay a $1 to see that fight.Originally posted by Bozo_no_noByrd has already said he won't go back to Germany.
And there's more than 450K for him to be made in this tournament. That mandatory was on show time, and wasn't even promoted by King.Comment

Exactly, What PPV sales?? the PPV numbers already suck and all 4 champions suck.Originally posted by boxing2005Not for Byrd it isn't. nobody will pay money to watch a heavy tournament without the two best heavyweight fighters (klitschko and toney)
a klitschko/toney matchup would have more pay per view sales than all 4 heavy tournament fights COMBINED.Comment
