    • DC is a tough town and Philly (where one of the refs is from) is a tough town and NC where the other close ref was from also appreciates tough fighters. Khan ran all night and although he landed clean counter shots, did not land effective (made lp stop) punches. Plus DC is a tough town!!! Although I think crowd was split, they appreciated hard punches vs pretty combinations. In the words of Lampley (who I hate) effective aggression wins fights!

Ortiz would not destroy Khan. People forget who Ortiz is.
I never said anything about Ortiz destroying Khan, but I would favor Ortiz to beat him. It makes no sense to declare Peterson a better fighter than Ortiz when he didn't even beat him.

P.S. Yes i do like Floyd. Im a fan of his, just not a raging ***** that is anti everything Pac and Roach, and has an IQ of a cricket.
At the end of the day he knew Peterson had his head low, boxing 101 move side to side, work his body while he is low and give some uppercuts,Khan had the uppercuts working earlier and stopped it.The ref still was warning him after he first deduction and Khan was doing it.the reason Peterson didn't get as many warnings was he was working or Khan had move and used the ring. It could have gone either way in my opinion i f it was like Peterson had many more rounds you can say it was robbery but two rounds isnt robbery. All the guys on sky sports were noticing the Khan was tired and was running more and were saying he needs to stand firm

              • OK.......fair is fair....i hate pacquaio and i think marquez beat him convincingly. I hate Khan but i feel even with the point deductions he won this fight. I was so happy when the decision was read cause i hate Khan's ****iness.....but he won this fight guys....

Excuses for who? Truth be told dude khan won that fight had it not been for the deductions and I really don't even like khan but I'm not biased either the fight pretty much went just like I expected aside from the decision.. I'm just saying khan needs to forget about mayweather cuz he's not on that level and stay at lightweight cuz he's not quite a welter yet

Even the judge who gave peterson the nod had khan winning aside from the point deductions taking 2 pts away making his score 113-112, don't get any clearer than that but I'm happy for peterson I'm no hater

Khan has nobody to blame but himself. i'm stationed in Germany so I had to watch it via SKY sports, even his own British people said it was a close fight and they aren't mad it went to Peterson. Haha they actually said Khan needed to stop running. Can't wait for the rematch
                    Damn.

He got more skills than Ortiz and Berto but they're faster and hit harder.

I'd pick Guerrero and Bradley to beat them.

                    • Another exciting HBO appearance for Amir Khan, BTW; this just doesn't hurt him so much at all outside of the May/Pac league - people are gonna want to see the rematch and to see Khan again in general, because he makes for edge-of-seat action more often than not.
