I like Canelo but I still am not sure about his Chin resistance. I can count on Chavez's chin to take some mayor punishment since he inherited it from his father.

Rhodes was actually ranked top 10 by The Ring at the time, so that was actually a good fight for him on paper. Rhodes did earn that position in the ratings and we have to keep in mind at 154 pounds, while there are a lot of good fighters no one has really done much in the division, so certainly guys like rhodes, k9, etc. can be ranked in the top 10.

he was also side tracke bc no one wanted to give him a tittle shot until canelo. He even wanted to fight margs when no one wanted to fight him.

right. So I think it's unfair for anyone to criticize Canelo for fighting Rhodes, who I believe was #6 or #7 by the Ring at the time and it was supposed to be Canelo's toughest fight of his career, and I remember there were a number of people who thought Rhodes was going to win.

I've been a critic of canelo lately, well more so the WBC's rankings and my belief that Golden Boy is protecting him a bit, but Rhodes certainly isn't something he should be criticized for.

thought Angulo-Kirkland was the eliminator, well at least that's what it was being advertised as.

                    I want Canelo-Kirkland
