There no way Segura could win that fight though. He's getting hit with counters all night, that might made the ref stopped the fight imo. Viloria wasn't breathing heavy going to the 9th, he was out boxing Segura.

Bull**** and you know it!! guess its a trendn now in boxing where REFS will stop fights when a fighter is not really hurt!!! Sure Viloria was winning but everone knows how Viloria fades in the lsat rounds, I guess they were lookin out for the hometown guy!!

segura has no chance of winning anyway so stop crying. he can longer see with his right eye and the way it swell could be dangerous. segura is a sucker for the left counter by viloria so it could only go worse for him. viloria could take his power and looks like he has more left in the tank when the fight was stopped. the gap in skills is too obvious in favor of viloria.

Even if the fight continues, Viloria is still gonna punish that eye and counter Segura. Segura also seems that he was getting tired too. I am not saying he is, but just looks like it.

              Cong**** to Viloria

Viloria was still on his feet and didn't look like he was gassing out anytime soon. If the fight continued, it would've gotten worst for Segura. Honestly think the stoppage should have been called earlier.

I'm sorry that fight wasn't a one sided beatdown. Viloria's punches were harder obviously harder but Segura was landing alot of leather that the crowd didn't pay attention to. The fight IMO was close until the stoppage. Segura could have fought on but his eye was ****ed and I'm partly in agreement with it. But this was not one sided the whole way.

What rounds did you give Segura?

Psst, it was more a case of the ref looking out for Segura's health. Viloria, known for having stamina issues looked great until the stoppage, no signs of slowing down, if anything Viloria's confidence level rose and was simply doing whatever he wanted in there.

I didn't like the stoppage, because the ref basically took out Viloria's big moment of being the first to put Segura on his @ss for good.

Anyway, Segura was clearly weakening and it was only his fighting spirit keeping him up, otherwise, he was getting treated like a pinata.
