I'm shocked people are giving him a chance. He has no chance. He didn't have one in the first fight he doesn't have one now.

Agreed...he is a bit past prime, FINALLY started listening to a good trainer, and became teach-able and not so dam stubborn, and so he looked better this time against Tony. If he fought the same way, Tony would probably have beaten him again, even with a bad eye.

But Cotto is not, nor ever will be elite. He needs to stay away from Pac and Floyd. Pac says he's going to start listening to Ariza's more rigorous way of training, which made pac a better fighter than his last 2 bouts, where Pac pretty much ignored ariza'a ways of training.

        He sure did......

He sure did! Hahahaha! Mr. Canelo is a hype job! Jr. would hurt him. If Gomez could have maintained that pace, he would have won easy. Good post here. I gave you green because I thought I was the only one who saw what was happening in that fight.

Pac V Cotto II would be a pointless waste of time

my word. i have never, ever heard so much hype for a rematch of a fight where one fighter was clearly dominated by another. its baffling. but i hope it happens so that cottoitis can go back into remission.

I still remember during the PAC vs Cotto press conference in SF where a fan asked PAC if he will stand with Cotto and trade. I was like yea right, there's no way PAC is going to do that because Cotto is bigger than him and it would be too risky. Come fight night I was suprise to see PAC really trading with Cotto LOL.

About time someone from Margarito's camp gave Cotto credit. Not sure I agree though. Cotto has the tools to pull off the win, but it'd be difficult. He'd really have to fight the perfect fight.

Very gentleman like oh him, props to that. But I must disagree with Cotto's chances against Pac. That first fight was just so one sidedly Pac's no amount of training can reverse that, that's just down to the fighters' skills and Pac is a more skilled fighter. And here's another way of gauging Pac vs Cotto II: Which one of these guys beat Marg better? I'll go with Pac, the one who stood toe to toe with him and utterly destroyed him.

comparing it on Marquez fight seems not adequate, first, two of marquez fight with Pac were very close and the first fight of Cotto and Pac? Blue print is already there way back before Cotto vs Pac fight.

The difference of his lost to Margarito and Pac is totally different especially the mindset of Cotto. Cotto knows/believe that the reason why he lost to Margarito is because of plaster which play the big role on his second fight. He knows that Margarito cant hurt him the way he hurt by Margarito on their first fight. With Pac lost, he knows Pac have speed and punch that can hurt him and Pac still have those.

with all due respect...... Cotto should stay at 154... he is comfortable at that weight

at 147, pac will kick his @ss.

Cotto is a good fighter and one of my favorite

Margarito's manager wants Cotto to be beaten up again
