I don't see any reason that Amir Khan can't push the sport forward.

He's young, an entertaining fighter, has charisma, is at a weight that should offer plenty of marquee/entertaining/rivalry building opponents and has a global appeal.

Besides his piece of ****, gap toothed father, there isn't much not to like about Amir going forward and his chances to carry the sport for years to come.

An electric talent under the most famous trainer in the sport? I don't see why he can't. I think the hype train is a little out of control, but he's definitely a solid fighter. It doesn't hurt that he's good looking. My mom doesn't usually watch boxing with me (and hasn't followed the sport since Leonard) but she'll stay up and watch an Amir Khan fight because "he's hot." That counts for something.

maybe he feels now that he is wrong LOL Khan runs a lot, has an amateur style, he is dirty, holds and pushes for his life, plus the cheap shot after the stop, people often hate him and now he is a loser. Bradley, Berto, Ortiz, Floyd, Matthysse, Maidana, Alvarado, Peterson are above or at least in his level, and some of them will ko him easy.
