It's seems that his fans on this site want him to really lose his eye just so he can try to win 3 rounds. When cotto fought PAC and he was getting his ass hand to him I wanted them to stop it at the 9th. I just don't see the need for senseless beating for nothing. Margorito is not JCC he didn't layout the foundation for a late stoppage there was little to none bodywork..

Some people convinced themselves that plaster was never an issue in the first fight. They were sure Margarito would validate his case against Cotto by beating him, again. That never materialized, his punches were not as powerful (even though he was a weight class above) and maybe won a round IF you were generous.
They don't hate him. They hate him losing THAT fight against THAT guy, Cotto. -

It's not only people on this site I live in a boarder town and some boxing fans thought Margo was coming on but most people I know are pro Mexico harde core.. How was the Azteca broadcast ??? Where they saying that cotto was on his way out ??? Where do they get this idea that the tide was turning ??Comment

Im Mexican and I can say his style is great and one of best fighters today. Wish more like him. But when you load your gloves in the sport i love, thats a slap in the face to all, so I dont like him for that.

I am a Margarito fan because hes a throwback fighter that is willing to fight to the death.
He has a Arturo Gatti, Ward, type of heart. That kind of fighter is rare.
Hes also hilarious outside the ring like when he got his wife to come close to him and then he farted a fart so smelly that she had to run like usain bolt across the roomComment
