The problem with this fight is that Hatton has no chance whatsoever to win. Its not competitive at all.

Not a bad first fight at 147, Hatton won a lot of plaudits for his performance against canelo, its an easy fight to make due to the Hatton's working relationship Golden Boy, Hatton is a big name, albeit Rickys, it would draw in the UK, its a good Work out for khan against a durable opponent for his first fight at a new weight, and yes he would have to face a top guy in his next fight, Berto vs Ortiz 2 winner perhaps.Comment

Nothing from the quotes in the article to suggest it is being considered by Team Khan or that there is a decent chance of it happening. It is basically Team Hatton saying "yes we would love that fight."
He should fight Berto, Ortiz, or Senchenko (if he wants to be cautious in testing the waters at 147).Comment

not happy with this fight but it would be fun to watch hatton get smashed up,saying that he did do well against a bigger canelo
if it did get signed up id like to see brook and hearn crying about it,that would be a classicComment

Khan must love hearing the MEN boo him if he's concidering this fight.
Brook is 10* the better fight, if Hearn is smart he'll put Brook in with Mathew Hatton after he has his US debut and take this option away from KhanComment

A Khan fight means big money, meaning that many, many fighters better than Hatton would be willing to fight Khan in the UK. This is simply an easy money fight for Khan, in the same way the Audley fight was for Haye. What most people seem to be missing here is that this fight would take place in the UK. Apart from Brook and Hatton whom already reside there, who from the top guys will be willing to come to the UK to fight Khan?
None of them.
Aslong as he fights a credible opponent after this, it's LL COOL J.Comment

If it does happen, it's not really that bad of a fight. Khan is moving up in weight for this fight to fight a guy who has fought for years in 147lbs division, and a guy who a lot of British fight fans know. So it's a decent stay-busy/147lbs debut fight for Khan.Comment
