Salido "was" going to fight Oliver, but it didnt happen, just like Floyd was supposed to fight Pacquiao, until it actually happens it aint worth mentioning.

What did happen was Juan Ma fighting a naturally smaller man for a regional belt where the challenger wasnt even ranked. What Salido did do was defend his belt against a top 15 contender in Yamaguchi that is fact.

Lol hes a joke yet he already took the title by beating juan ma up. This irks me man people talking down on this dude who stepped in the ring with the likes of Guerrero, Marquez, Cruz, Mtagwa(who gave lopez hell), Gamboa, and Lopez himself and in his territory as well. Say what you will, Salido was lined up to fight someone else, dont know the details but most likely it didnt fall through. This is just a stay active fight, especially if hes going to fight Juan Ma early next year. Once that fight happens everyone will come up wit another reason if Juan Ma loses to deny that Salido is a good contender in the featherweight division.

If I were Salido id say fck Juan Ma, there is a featherweight named Jhonny Gonzalez that he could fight in Mexico City instead. Both are from Mexico, they would be unifying and he probably would make as much if not more than fighting someone he already beat.
