Yuriorkis Gamboa would of sparked Rios anyways.

Instead of Gamboa, Rios dodged a bullet.

Gamboa is way too fast and too slick for a plodding Rios.

He would of done 10x the outboxing that Acosta did in the first half.

Plus, under Emmanuel Steward's tutelage... wow.

Rios would of been handed his first loss.

But Brandon has a new bullet coming at him, Mile High Mike Alvarado.

Let's see what he can do.

Danny Garcia is too green for Brandon Rios.

I wouldn't give him credit if he won.

i disagree. i think the move up in weight would have some affect on him as well as having rios be the hardest puncher he has faced. still, i'd root for gamboa to beat him. alvarado/rios is going to be sick. hopefully it gets made.

Now were talking. Alvarado vs Rios is a good match-up.

Rios was HHUUGGEEE for 135lbs...It's the main thing he had going for him, so all he had to do was put pressure and he would eventually get to Gamboa, which btw has a very suspect chin. I agree that Gamboa can outbox him easy but Rios was just too big for the weight.

Rios' and strength could've been a problem, but I would've picked Gamboa.
