Any info why this fight was canceled? Again.

It was canceled because the card wasn't picked up by Showtime.

Originally the main event was supposed to be Tavoris Cloud vs Zsolt Erdei. Zsolt got injured a couple weeks ago. Campillo was willing to take his spot, team Cloud ok'd it, but for some dumb idiotic reason Showtime refused to pick it up (as if Erdei is some big time star, right?!).

So, unfortunately the entire card was scrapped, including Rigo vs Ramos. Sucks big time for Rigondeaux, as he's been waiting very patiently for this fight and yet again here is another setback.

I haven't heard any news since but I imagine they will reschedule, as Rigondeaux is Rico's mandatory fight.

Oh so thats what is going on. Thanks man. Been waiting for this fight to happen for so long and was like WHAT THE ****? Again? Sucks for Rigo, hope he can cope mentaly with all this *****. I have somehow this feeling they are protecting Ramos.

Man, I sure hope so. I found out yesterday that Rigo's fight was canceled. It's just frustrating.

Word on the street according to Rey Sanchez who is very close to the rigondeaux camp is January 20, is a friday so i guess it must be picked up by espn
