Cotto is being called out by many boxers these days. Why?

It seems like Cotto is being wanted as an opponent by several fighters now. Margarito would like a rematch, Chávez, Jr, Sergio Martínez, Trout, and I read the other thread stating that Paul Williams was interested also.

Is this because of the money they would win against Cotto, the recognition they would get by beating him, the prospect of being recognized by Ring as the #1 at 154, or do they see him as too beatable and think they can capitalize on it? Perhaps there might be something else involved.

I think it's a combination of all of the above. In Margarito's case it's just rivalry and disdain, but what about the others?

Well since he's an overrated fighter with a name, that means high reward low risk.

        Who wouldn't want that?

Well, that depends on how someone sees it since it's obvious that he will not fight all of those. I think Chávez and Martínez have the best chance at landing the fight.

You don't want people to fight Cotto...?

                  Are you afraid for him?

I think it's not just the money. That's the main thing but also the name recognition, since that would mean even more chances for going mainstream and earn more money. It's a combination.
