    By Jake Donovan

Later this evening at Ballsaal Interconti-Hotel in Dusseldorf, Gennady Golovkin (21-0, 18KO) puts his alphabet middleweight title at stake against American challenger LaJuan Simon (23-3-2, 12KO).

The entire undercard was bumped up a day after its original headliner fell through. Lineal heavyweight Wladimir Klitschko was to top the bill in a title defense against former cruiserweight king Jean-Marc Mormeck, but was forced to withdraw after succumbing to a battle with kidney stones late last week.

Klitschko will still be on hand for the show, as the hulking Ukrainian is to be presented with an award prior to the makeshift main event

In the televised opener, unbeaten middleweights Vladimir Schipizin and Toni Camin fought to a six-round draw in a fight that never went anywhere. [Click Here To Read More]

    The Schipizin-Camin fight was abysmal.

Bunce and Lillis ripping ze Germans a new one was the only saving grace so far.

Golovkin doesn't need to do anything.

The so called ' top guys ' need to grow a pair and give the Kazakh warrior a fight.

          Golovkin-Prog should happen next.

          Winner gets a title shot.

Golovkin only weighted in at 158 1/2. Have him fight Kirkland.

On a serious note, he & Pirog would be interesting.

                  Good call.

Golovkin could also call out Felix Sturm since they are based in the same country.
