Is this meant to be sarcastic?

Have you actually seen those fights? If you can't spot that those fighters where paid to take a dive you must be blind. And for Roach to be a part of something like that is a shame/disgrace on his part.

I agree to certain point about Roach but he has at least "refined" Pacquiao from his days as a wild swinging Filipino youngster. He has shown he can teach some new things to his guys. You need a talented fighter, I don't care how good of a trainer you are you'll never be able to make a world caliber fighter out of an average guy.

But what has Garcia done for Brandon Rios? Rios is one of the most exciting fighters today, I love to watch him fight, but they guy can't box for ****. All he does is put his head down and close the distance on his opponent, then he'll go to work firing uppers and hooks.

That's it, he does nothing else. You would think he would have tought him to jab and work on some other things like moving around a bit so when he needs to box a bit he'll be able to do it.

If he faces a Maidana, what he's gonna do when he finds out he can't outslug him? If he faces a Khan or a Bradley, what he's gonna do when he he finds out they are giving him a boxing clinic and he can't do **** about it. Garcia's guys are mostly one dimensional, he's overrated.

Khan will give Rios a boxing clinic. Linares may have lost but he definitely has skills. He may have not been able to keep up the pace of the fight, which led him to abandon his game plan but he has skills. No matter what people say about "a natural fighter", everyone has to learn the fundamentals of the sports. Your not born knowing these skills, they are learned. Natural fighters/athletics demonstrate natural abilities like good balance, natural speed, strength, good coordination, and excellent peripheral vision, etc. at an early age. That's the difference. So in Roach's defense, he does deserve credit for polishing out the Filipino icon.

I respect Roach and I respect Garcia, they're both great trainers, as far as Kahn vs. Rios goes, this would be a great fight, boxer vs. brawler, we saw that Rios can take a punch even while drained, it takes more than 24 hours to get your full strengh back, so I would say if Rios is 100% this fight could go any way, actually I'd give Rios a slight edge just becaus of his chin, we know he's a go forward boxer and Kahn is hittable

If this fight gets made and Rios is able to come in hydrated, Khan gets his china chin checked and broken. That is just the truth. Rios is a bigger puncher and of better natural ability than Maidana who had Khan reeling.

Roach is sounding like a real b-tch too with his, I want khan to avenge me bull crap. At least merchant told PBF he'd kick his ass himself if he was younger hahaha. Sounds like he is just trying to get a little bit of spotlight time for him and khan because there isn't much interest in the peterson fight. Also we all know Top Rank and GBP don't work together.

Seriously, Miguel Acosta? His best performance was against a declining Antillon. Rios ducked Miguel Vasquez, who would out class him too.

kind of like roach taught pac to be a two handed figher right kind of like he taught pac to be a boxer right get real
garcia has his flaws but he is a far better trainer then roach ever will be.
