Will Tarver's mouth draw Mike Tyson out of retirement?

This is a great post by a good friend of mine from another forum.

there is a brand new interview on ********** with Tyson and he sounds right pissed off.

He actually sounds like he is going to sign to fight Tarver.

As much as I think Tarver is a clown and want to see him get knocked out, I really don't want him to get a huge payday for fighting a washed up Tyson. And I can't stomach the thought of Tarver actually beating Tyson, especially at this point.

It's a total lack of respect for Tyson, for boxing, and for boxing fans.

I already told myself that I would never watch Tyson fight again after the McBride fight, and I really don't have any interest in watching Tarver fight again unless it is against James Toney (so I can see Toney humiliate his ignorant ass).

    Some Tyson quotes:

"I'm just so sick and tired of this this guy's talking that I'm going to come back and do what Roy Jones should have done and knocked the blackness off his ass! This ***** ass (censored) ain't **** and I'm going to show that he ain't cut from the same cloth as I am."

"But if we're talking some real (censored) **** now, because we're dealing with a (censored), I'm going to have to come back down to my lower self and deal with this brother."

"I don't bother nobody and here he comes picking on me. I've had nothing but nice things to say about the brother and he just wants to (censored) me up. What kind of (censored) is this? He's a disrespectful little (censored), but I got something for his ass."

"The way he's talking I'm just inspired to whoop his ass. And if he happens to get a couple of good hits in during the fight and loses, I still might want to give him a little post fight ass whooping too."

"I want you to put up an APB for Jeff Fenech. Jeff, I need you right now. Where are you? Someone is talking **** and we're going to kick his (censored) ass. And if you don't help me do it in the ring we're going to have to do it outside and I know you don't want me to go to prison (censored) so come on."

"I'm going to be throwing hydrogen bombs at him with bad intentions. And I'm going to throw every punch with the intentions of him taking a dirt nap. I'm going to try to give him a dirt nap and then I'm going to try and kiss on his sister anyway."

"I just want to whoop his ass to shut him the (censored) up, I'll whoop his ass for charity. The money don't mean as much to me as whooping this black bastard's ass."

"Nobody represents me, nobody loves me. I'm just out here representing myself, but me and Tarver could go out there in Orlando and I could whoop his ass at Disney World in Florida, I don't give a ****."

Personaly, I don't want to see Tyson come out of retirment, and I don't want to see Tarver at Heavyweight.

I do want to see Mike Tyson give Antonio Tarver a sever concussion,

but I don't want to see Tyson look lost and uninterested for four rounds before quitting agaisnt Tarver wasting my time and money.

Tyson should just ignore Tarver and enjoy his retirement. He wasted a lot of people's money with that farce against McBride, and there's no way he needs to come back to fight a guy that has no business fighting at Heavyweight.

If anything, Tyson should beat the **** out of Tarver in a Hotel Lobby somewhere.

I hope the fight doesn't happen as well. I don't really like either fighters, prime or past prime. I wouldn't want to see it since Tyson wouldn't give it his asll... If he would then I suppose it would be worth it. I sincerely doubt that Tyson has the heart to give it his all and get into peak condition again. He's washed up, and Tarver's only got a couple of years until he's in a similar boat.

Tyson,as exciting as he was early on , has been nothing but an insult to the sport of boxing for the longest time.More than any fighter in recent memory.

You know what ,Tyson probably will come back, because people will still be ****** enough to pay to see Tyson's final insult to boxing.Tarver vs. Tyson.

The initial point was, Tyson has been through a lot, and he's just trying to move on. All his life he's been surrounded by people looking to **** him over.

I don't like him, he's not very bright but he's a product of his eviornment. Lately he's looked at peace with himself and at being away from boxing.

Tarver calling him out when he's been retired and a poor fighter for years is a joke.

          That's the point.

And lastly, are you telling me you didn't watch him fight McBride?

A lot of people hate on Tyson, but they seem to watch him just as much as those who can't get enough.

He's a trainwreck and people will always want to see him no matter what he's doing, because you might see crazy things happen.

He quit aganst Williams but he just took a straight up beatdown against McBride.

I would be awesome though to see Tyson take Tarver out in like 2. Dont know if its possible, but it would be f**Ing great.

              No he didn't.

He came out dull and uninterested. He didn't go after him, didn't throw any meaningful shots, and allowed McBride to lean on him.

He just gave up, because he wasn't interested in trying.

Afterwards, he admitted he had no interest in doing it anymore.

It had little to nothing to do with McBride.

Almost any Heavyweight could have beaten Mike Tyson under those circumstances on that night.

Yeah, Tyson made excuses, as alot of fighers do after suffering defeats. Fact is, Tyson was utterly and totally dominated by McBride and didn't quit as he did against Williams. He was just straight up beat down for a sustained period.

As per usual, you have no idea what you're talking about.

McBride didn't land anything meaningful on Tyson. He was landing thumping uncordinated shots, and holding.

Tyson wasn't hurt, he just had no interest in being there in the 1st place.

You could tell right from round one that he had no busniess being there. He didn't try and go after McBride in the least. He just bit his glove and threw one punch at a time.

To suggest in anyway that McBride showed up and took the fight out of Tyson with a beating of any kind is non sense.

He showed up and leaned on a washed up mentally weak fighter who didn't want to be there.

He leaned on and beat on a small 5'9, natural 217 pound fighter. McBride didn't land meaninfull shots? Give me a break, he did alll kinds of damage to the small Tyson on the inside, hurting him badly. Causing in fact as you know a corner retirement by Fenech.
