With the Perez warm up out of the way, let's get ready for Povetkin/Perez... if povetkin doesn't pursue the WBA that is

Hopefully we get a unification by Oct/Nov time ?
        Possibly.

But if Povetkin beats Perez in June and Wilder in Oct/Nov, likely unification will be 2016 in Moscow.

Too many 'what ifs' right now to predicting a unification fight. Who knows what direction Wilder's team with go? And then there's the 'Fury factor' - how does Tyson fit into all of this?

I just don't see Wilder electing to defend against Povetkin, therefore choosing to unify. Just like Haye avoided the first real challenge of Chagaev or Povetkin, speeding up the Haye/Wlad fight. The riches and spoils unless Ryabinksy comes back with another monster offer will be too great to turn down in favor of the unification.

Fury and Wlad will be ordered to negotiate early May I suppose, around that time I expect Wlad to state his intention to unify and begin negotiations with Haymon. I'd have thought Wilder be be in camp for his next fight during that time, all they have to do is lobby the WBO to delay the Fury fight until after the unification. The WBO get two sanctioning fees then, with a Fury fight coming after a potential unification. Wlad always pays his fees every defence whether it is a mandated defence of another belt, hence the reason the orgs and bodies love his money generating ass.

Fury will just have to sit on his ass like he made Pulev do for nearly six months before electing not to face him, I care little of that guy. Hell I wanna see Wlad flatten is gigantic dumb ass but I want a unification sooner than later.

I was not suggesting a unification with Povetkin, Freedom. I was suggesting upon Povetkin becoming mandatory to Wilder it will speed things along between Wilder and Wlad at the table. Maybe Povetkin and Wilder will fight, as Boston suggests, far too many ifs at this stage.
