Briggs is a goon,Leapai has his number and this chump knows it.

Great to see Wach back amongst it,hopefully he faces Szpilka and Adamek winner.I think Wach beats either and gets himself back into contention in 2015.

                  • Just watched the fight - Wilder looked kind of flat in his performance as Gavern seemed to elude a lot of Deontay's punches. Gavern was able to connect with some good shots of his own throughout the 4 rounds before retiring on his stool.

Some things I noticed about Wilder:

He keeps his hands extraordinarily high and has a habit of backing up directly instead of on an angle.

Wilder also looked like **** on the inside when Gavern was in close. He doesn't seem to have much of a 'inside fight game.'

If I was Stiverne watching this fight, I would be very comforted because Wilder looked very one dimensional and he lacks the inside game that Stiverne is very good at

I'm not sure about him. Was the KO of Scott real? The KO of Lyakhovich certainly was, but Sergei is shot to pieces.

He doesn't appear to be slick and athletic, but what 6'7" boxer does? He seems to have great one-punch power, and Deontay will have a reach advantage over nearly everybody he fights (including Wlad) so he should be able to connect.

But we cannot know for sure, because he's not yet fought anyone really dangerous.
