"Of course I'll be rooting for Povetkin; he's my countryman... I think he has a chance to beat Klitschko. Alexander has the character and the will to win".

                • American heavyweight Malik Scott sees big things from undefeated Deontay Wilder (28-0, 28 KO’s) starting with his fight this Friday night on August 9th against former WBO heavyweight champion Sergei Liakhovich (25-5, 16 KO’s) at the Fantasy Springs Casino in Indio, California.

Deontay definitely has an excellent shot of not only capturing a heavyweight world title, but also unifying the straps and then holding onto the belts for a long title run. Wladimir Klitschko has held onto the IBF title since 2006 in a nice 7-year title run, and I believe Deontay can do more than that once he gets his first strap around his waist.

wlad hasnt really been tested or pressured in a while. that could hurt him against povetkin. I think pov has much more of a chance than people are giving him
