One thing we know about boxer is if they don't secure a substantial amount of cash flow to invest they are bound to go broke. Nobody really pays to see a good or even great boxer box, people pay for k.o's

Ward's got a family he needs to support and Floyd is showing him how to get that money. Broner peeped game and is catching eyes simply with having a bit of a persona, if he keeps it up he will come into money.

Good guys finish last and if Ward don't go Tyson/Jones on his opponents there is a great chance he will have missed an opportunity to feed his children's children.

You're presuming that he is a uneducated, intellectually incurious, morally bankrupt buffoon like the guys you mentioned.

Who's to say that his clean cut persona and his success in the sport of Boxing won't carry him over into politics, like Vitali Klitschko. Be a good ambassador of the sport now, go run for Congress or Mayor in his late 40's to 50's.

Casual fans want drama, most of them get bored during a clinical masterpiece by Floyd, even Winky can attest to this. Winky's notoriety among the casuals came from his domination of SSM and Trinidad that didn't last very long either.

Floyd is more than a boxing genius in the ring, he also knows how to make the most and keep the most by taking control of his own promo.

Bottom line, Ward says he doesn't care what people think he won't promote his business with proven methods of success. Floyd on the other hand does care what people think so he is the most discussed and well paid fighter in the game.

BTW I'm talking AA fighters because it just ain't the same. Our fighters pretty much depend on the oppositions fans to either hate them enough to pay them or promote them.

Floyd wouldn't be able to play his character as successfully if he wasn't an arrogant ****** to begin with. That's what got him over.

Either Ward is a good actor and can do a complete 180 of what he really is, or it wouldn't work.
