What's your favorite Evander Holyfield performance/fight?

The first Bowe fight - not simply because it was arguably the greatest heavyweight contest in history,but because the significantly smaller Holyfield went twelve rounds in the trenches,engaged in a furious inside battle,against the much larger,younger Bowe,who also happened to be a tremendous inside fighter in his own right,and he more than held his own,even overcoming what looked to be an inevitable stoppage in the 10th round to finish that round on top.






Iron chin and an iron will - don't make em' like him anymore.

A good choice. When one thinks about it, the amount of great fights Evander has been in is quite staggering.

Good post and good fight. Evander was tough as nails man. Really wish he would stop fighting...but I don't think he can...if that makes sense.

i dont recall that one being on TNF but yea, i still think of that show from time to time...Sean O'Grady used to piss me off back then but i miss his captain obvious tips-to-win-the-fight

I also like the 2nd Ruiz fight, glad someone finally stepped up and was just as dirty as Evander was
