I've been hit by both everlast and Reyes, didn't feel much of a difference to be honest.
It's a huge difference, I don't even want to get into it. I won't even get into the make and how the padding breaks down different throughout excessive use, or how both are padded different.
I'll just get into the wrist protection, and how Grants wrists are padded, thick, and long, which keep your punches straigt whilst Reyes has hardly any wrist protection and you can easily break your wrist if it isn't strong enough.
This is huge for most punchers as it allows them to really turn their knuckles into most of their punches and not slap, or be forced to stick to straights.
Rival are some of the best gloves I've ever worn though, comfort wise.

I guess it effects people differently, I couldn't tell.
I can feel the difference when I Put the gloves on. I love using the grant loves. I haven't had it the other way around. Everyone I have gotten hit with are Just everlast

Grant gloves are very snug.. they are an "inviting" and comfortable glove.. and that has a LOT to do with the wrists of the glove. They are also the hardest glove to skin because of the way the padding links to the wrist.
Whereas you can skin a pair of Reyes's very easily.
Nobody.. i mean NOBODY could skin their gloves like Barrera. I've seen some serious skinning on cottos gloves, but my god.. Barrera...

LOL he damn near has tape on the entire glove!
What kind of gloves u use man? I like the Reyes gloves. But to me idk man. It seems like I'm uncomfortable Grants fit right in
Well... I guess you're talking about FIGHTING gloves, not 16oz-ers.
In all truth I think the biggest difference comes from how good a job of wrapping the hands... a good snug bandage on a relaxed hand will tighten up good, while not constricting the fingers and kuckles... will also fit better inside any glove... how firmly laced is also important.
Some boxers prefer the shorter wrist... when you turn the uppercut or hook, many guys feel more confortable for their motion delivering the power that way.
One of the most underlooked aspects is humidity... a sweaty hand in a hot humid place would make padding heavier and uneven sometimes.
There are in summary IMO many other factors that alter the feel of the glove beyond brand or design details.
I have never got my hand inside Reyes Gloves... so I cant speak for them... only Everlast, Rival and Grant.

Floyd skinned the shit out of his grants. When he fought Ortiz.
I was surprised when I first saw them cause he normally doesn't do that.
