WBA junior middleweight champion Miguel Cotto is starting to get a little annoyed with the continued rumors regarding his possible parting of ways from promotional company Top Rank. Last Saturday's rematch with Antonio Margarito was the final fight of Cotto's contract with Top Rank. Fans love to label Arum an evil scumbag who robs fighters, and they base this assertion on the two hi-profile guys that left him in bitter seperations, De La Hoya and Mayweather.

Thing is, those guys were two of the greediest, most egocentric, money-consumed SOBs in the sport, who also happened to have questionable characters (each with numerous incidents outside the ring, ranging from women beating all the way to **** allegations).

Two of the most humble fighters in the sport, who also are universally respected as men of great character, Cotto and Pacquiao, decided to stay with Arum and were grateful for all he did for their careers.

Do you believe the bad guys, or do you believe the good guys?

Just shows us that Arum doesn't control who his fighters chooses. He just recommends. Cotto wanted Floyd and he got it.

I guess arum ain't that bad after all. Cotto being Loyal means he is happy where his at. Hmm.. seems like it's only Floyd who has beef with Arum.

Oscar, Hatton & Clottey were probably the only fighters that his team didn't choose some kind of weight stipulation & advantage over above 135. Oscar chose Pacman, this example is totally irrelivant, try again.

Bro before cotto faced pac, Cotto fought Clottey weighing-in @ 146lbs. When he fought Pac he weighed-in @ 145lbs. A pound of difference ain't too much of a factor.


Fast forward 4 years: Cotto is more has always been a legit welterweight fighter who now is fighting in a 154 lbs coz Right now he is a Blown up 154 where he is actually a natural welterweight who just aged to higher weight coz that's what old men have deal with when you age you gain more weight. All it says is that Cotto is Old.

Don't forget cotto's best years is when he was a welterweight. He will always be a welterweight, nowadays he is a blown up welter.

Oh really, pac climbed one division for the diaz fight then jumped 2 more for Dlh. in a matter of not even a year.

Dlh fought Hopkins @ 164.
