Alexander, you'll get hit in the eye and cry about it until the referee stops the fight.

Get hit more and get given a gift win because you're in your hometown? Grunt a lot as your punches hit gloves and air?Comment

He's also performed far better against better competition. Maidana seems to be a fighter that performs to the level of his opponent. Can't wait for this either, a lot of you guys overrate the heck out of Maidana, a guy who struggled badly against Corley and a well past it Morales. Alexander's chances are really good in this one.
Though that hardly ever happens, I might actually lean on Alexander to win this one.
Certainly a winnable fight for Alexander, but mainly because Maidana can't win unless he knocks Alexander out. Considering Alexander seems to have a pretty good chin, that's unlikely, so most likely Alexander will win by decision in a fight he didn't actually win, which is a pattern with him now.Comment

Maidana has no defense and his power is overrated Devon will use movement and out box him like Khan didComment

We'll see, though I don't see it turning out that way. Again, look at the opponents Alexander struggled with, look into their offense, he had problems with guys who throw straight punches or short punches (Bradley, Matthysse, Kotelnik, Urango), Maidana is the opposite of that, not to mention those guys have quicker hands than him and were better defensively! He's also performed far better against better competition. What makes Maidana is his demeanor, his willingness to walk through fire, even then this is still a VERY winnable fight for Alexander, VERY. I'm picking Devon here.Comment
