Comments Thread For: Peter Quillin Talks Sparring with Carl Froch in New York

WBC super middleweight champ Carl “The Cobra” Froch has been sparring with middleweight contender Peter "Kid Chocolate" Quillin, and the New Yorker feels the Englishman has more than a fighting chance to win his Dec. 17 date with WBA boss Andre “S.O.G.” Ward in Atlantic City.

    Great sparring for Carl.

    Froch will not be denied

The only way Ward hurts Froch is with his head.

The winner of this fight should be fighter of the year, and should be top 5 pound 4 pound status. Froch's resume in recent years is amazing. Pascal, Taylor, Dirrell, Abraham, Kessler, G. Johnson, Ward. 5-1 so far, and never outclassed.

Ward will pitch a near shutout by blocking, making Froch miss and making him pay with counters all night.
