Hopkins already got a taste of that Canadian money and fanbase. He knows there is a lot more money fighting Bute in Canada then Dawson in the states.
Yup, Hopkins is loving it up in Canada! They were even chanting his name in the Pascal rematch. I'd personally love to see the fight, if Bute is willing to move up for it.

If Hopkins doesn't push for a rematch with Dawson then he really doesn't want to get anywhere near Dawson again and it would also suggest that the injury was staged to get out of losing.

There has to be a rematch at a discounted PPV rate.

Couldn't agree more. The rematch shouldn't be pay per view at all. Maybe it isn't the biggest money making fight out there but it is one that needs to happen. My respect for both guys plummeted after that joke of a "fight".

Am I the only one wishing Hopkins retired?

If he elects to continue Bute is a good choice. Lots of money there if he can get Bute's petty promotor to pay which wont be easy. Another doubtful thing would be to get Bute up in weight.

Dawson's lack of sportsmanship is the issue.
He threw those PPV dollars away when he tossed B-Hop aside like a wrestler.
I won't pay to see Dawson again and that fight will not become an HBO After Dark event.
Maybe Showtime would like to take the financial hit.
Dawson is likely to end up on ESPN.

No different than Hopkins lack of sportsmanship when he put on an oscar winning performances in the Jones II rematch for the supposedly catastrophic punch in the back of the head. Or the phantom below the belt shot that Calzaghe allegedly landed where he used to take a breather. But Hopkins is the "professional" here, yeah right.

All HBO has to do is put a good undercard together and broadcast this on WCB.

Hopkins wants NO parts of Dawson.

Bute should fight the Ward-Froch winner first. If Hopkins doesn't retire, which I think he should (he looked like s**t the first ocupel rounds against Chad), he should fight Cleverly or Cloud at 175.

Ok first of all bute isn't going to LHW yet he still wants the winner or even possibly the loser of the Super Six

Second Bhop needs to rematch dawson before calling anyone else out because that "fight" was straight bull**** and dawson was gonna spark old man out

3rd, tavoris cloud needs a fight so why not bhop?

Can't argue with the Bute fight for Hopkins and can see obviously with the money Bute brings in Canada why he would prefer this over a Dawson rematch though I still want to see it.
