Yeah, right. You forgot to include the kid who knocked out Rahman's teeth in Jr High too. Funny stuff but don't think you can make the Letterman or Leno shows.Comment

maskaev in 1 , wasn't professionalOriginally posted by DiegoFuegoThis is a repost of a post I made earlier. I just wanted to make sure Anorak and Leo Pradun and all the Vitali fans saw it. I love doing this to you guys. It's just so easy to prove you wrong AND make fun of you at the same time that I can't resist.
Here's how I see it. Lennox Lewis was the linear champion, but he was never beat before he retired. So we get four champions, all of which should be considered paper champions until one starts unifying belts. The first guy to win 2 belts would be the champ in my book, but nobody wanted to unify. So no, Vitali was NOT the champ, and Rahman is NOT the champ.
However, Rahman brings a lot more prestige to the belt.
Rahman WKO5 Lewis (last HW champion)
Vitali LTKO6 Lewis (last HW champion)
Rahman rose to the occasion and won where Vitali couldn't. Rahman is a 2 time WBC champion, 1 time undisputed champion. Vitali is a 1 time WBC champion, never undisputed champion.
Rahman was KO'ed by Maskaev in 8
Vitali was TKO'ed by Maskaev in 1
Rahman KO'ed Sanders in 7
Vitali TKO'ed Sanders in 8
I mean, there is absolutely NO argument that Vitali is better than Rahman. None whatsoever! Every accolade Klitschko has, RAHMAN HAS ONE BETTER.
Rahman owns Vitali
rahman was KD'd against sanders, and almost fell out of the ring, in a close fight.
vitali hammered him in a one sided fight
n i dont care what round u lose, when u get KO'd flat out of the ring onto a table, theirs not too much losses that are worst than thatComment

And this is just a re-owning, a reineration of the owning you received earlier, so just relax, this shouldn't hurt for too long lol
First, Rahman stopped Lewis where VK didn't and lost to him, however VK fought much better overall and looked much better in defeat than Rahman did in victory. Rahman all but refused to fight in the rematch, and lost via one-punch KO in the 4th round, something that has never happened to VK, even against Lewis. Furthermore, Rahman was handed the belt the second time, without fighting for it. The only thing by any stretch that could possibly be regarded as a title fight for the belt the second time is the "I'll be champ if anything ever happens to the real champ" title he won from Barrett. Again, when they fought, there was no title at stake, VK already held it.
Second, Rahman was KO'd brutally by Maskaev and knocked through the ropes and out of the ring, whereas VK was never KO'd or TKO'd by Maskaev at any point in his amateur or Pro career, that is nothing but horse**** you heard from another hater, and never actually happened. It's been discussed countless times and no one has ever been able to provide any proof that it happened., it's heresay, pure and simple.
Third, Rahman's defeat of Sanders was a TKO, same as VK's, and he achieved it after being dropped and knocked almost completely through the ropes, something that never came close to happening in VK's fight with Sanders.
Overall, rahman has faced more quality opponents, but he's lost to all of them except Lewis and Sanders. Lewis beat him soundly in the return fight and Sanders made him look very ordinary and foolish in their fight. How you can sit there with a straight face and say that Rahman trumps VK in every respect speaks volumes about your boxing knowledge, and posts like this are the reason no one takes you seriously.Comment
