that wasn't a real title fight though because it was only 10 rounds. not sure whos idea that was. i'm guessing armstrong since he was probably the a-side.

No idea, Leonard made the Hagler bout 12 rounds and not 15, others 15 rounds instead of 20. If it was a title bout then it was a title bout.
