As a Hatton fan I've seen all his fights... Every fighter says that they'll box him and pick him to pieces... They all say that they'll do this and that... But in all 39 fights... It's always the same... 30 seconds into the fight they are looking to survive.

Ricky Hatton forces people to fight Ricky Hatton's fight!... And that's the only way to beat him... It's possible, but Mayweather doesn't have the strength at 140lbs to do it.

pbf is not like anyother fighter that hatton has fought previously he is the # 1 p4p guy in the sport ....pbf does not need strength to beat hatton his speed and boxing skills are to much for hatton , hatton will get countered all night trying to close the distance pbf wins a ud ....

I haven't seen many fights of Hatton, but I have seen 3 and I believe he has the goods to upset Mayweather. Many people have just seen the Tszyu fight but that was a much different fight for Hatton. Hatton does not hold like that, he just did that against Tszyu to neutralize the straight right hand like he did.

Trust me when I tell you this, Hatton does NOT normally fight like that. He feints inside, and uses many angles to throw his opponent off and use his relentless body attack that is used to break down his opponents usually by the 6th or 7th round which he was clearly doing to Tszyu.

In other words, Hatton does everything exceptionally well and Mayweather won't win against Hatton by a clear-cut, easy UD.

Keep in mind, Tszyu is a much bigger 140 then Mayweather is, or ever will be. This is Hatton's only fight to build up his legacy as he is retiring after 2 more years (I believe). He will take this fight seriously, like he takes every fight seriously, and use his exceptional stamina, heart, skills, and chin to take the fight to Floyd and make it into a WAR. It won't be Hagler - Hearns but it will be an awesome fight.

Floyd isn't a dancing, defensive fighter anymore like he was against Corrales and Castillo. He has fully emerged into an offensive fighter like his Uncle Roger Mayweather. He usually stays in the pocket after the 3rd or 4th round and demolish's his opponent with his outstanding boxing ability. This is exactly what Hatton wants to unleash his relentless head/body attack.

They don't call him the "hitman" for nothing you know

          Long post... SORRY!!

Start a GREAT thread complimenting Pacquiao and his carreer and I will. I want pretty lengthy paragraphs and stuff. LOL!

I don't agree with any of this.

Maywether is taller than Tszyu, has more reach, and is going to be fighting at Welterweight in a week. He has filled out nicely and is defiantly a 140lber now.

(Taken just before the Gatti fight)

He also is not any different than when he fought Castillo and Corrales, he just adapts different to other styles. In no way would I characterize him as excluivly an offensive fighter.

Mayweather has shown against all different types of fighters that his speed nullifies many different styles.

Hatton is a pressure fighter, and he's going to eat shots and counter shots he won't see coming.

The style match up cleary favors the boxer in Maweather.
