Dont give me that Floyd......truth is if you wanted Pac it would have happened ages ago. Same as if you wanted Cotto and Margarito enough they might have happened as well. But nothing happens if you dont try, and if you retire especially things are even less likely to happen.

Clearly "Mr. Grant" you have zero concept of how powerful Bob Arum is. Arum doesn't want the fight, and that’s that, it makes no difference in the world what Floyd wants because he isn't going to get it. The paper trail, Arum's intrigues and skill at obfuscation make it clear he's trying to give the impression that negotiations are taking place and Pacquiao’s fanatics, eager to blame Floyd for everything, buy in without question.

To anyone willing to be unbiased enough to read Thompson's articles, they give compelling reasons for this fight not happening that having nothing to do with Floyd Mayweather. But I get it, the Mayweather hatred is so profound that those that have it ignore facts, figures, and what’s glaringly obvious even to the most profoundly mentally impaired person.

This is how irrational the hatred of one guy is, it's actually pretty bizarre imho.

Duboef is well-respected and is a stand-up guy. Is also the person who brought Cotto to Top Rank when no one had ever heard of him. Also developed most of the personal relationships between the fighters and management, which is why Floyd has high respect for him.

Indeed. the thing to really take away from this article is this:

Floyd supposedly has a great deal of respect for DeBouf and they are both on very good terms with each other, yet DeBoufs name hasn't been mentioned anywhere in "negotiations."

Surely if TR and Bob were serious Debouf would be the guy they send to talk to Floyd and Haymon (given Arum still can't get the sand out of his vagina regarding Haymon situation) but instead Koncz and Bob are running around with "investors"
