    I just watched it, and the way Simakov was at the end reminded me of McClellan at the end of his fight with Benn.

    These poor guys give us these fights, we want slugfests but when people are taking hard shots all night there is always a chance of this happening.

        Russian light heavyweight boxer Roman Simakov, who collapsed in the ring on Monday night during a title defense, died overnight of brain injuries in a Yekaterinburg hospital, an official said Thursday.

            sucks I feel for his family. I just watched the fight on youtube. His opponent landed quite a few powerful blows to the back of the head, especially some in clinches. I wonder if this helped the injury along although in theory I can't see why a blow on the back of the head is any worse than one on the front as the common theory goes. But he did get hit a lot during the fight
