    PPV/BIG fights Drought.....

Nothing major goings on in boxing for a min.....I hardly think Khan's and Klit's beatdowns of tomato cans count....neither does Roy Jones Jr quarterly ass kicking......

Ward Vs Froch will have to be it then for a while...and even that is luke warm.......then wait for Ortiz Berto in Feb......

I can only hope I find a "gem" somewhere in the mix.....

Anyone else feel me on this?

All the PPV/Big fights have been abominations with ***** endings anyway.

Petersen is not a tomato can. I wouldnt be surprised if it turns out to be a very good fight.

It's because everyone is holding out waiting to try and fight the cash cows, Floyd and Pac.

Petersons no chump! although i dont expect him to beat khan im anticipating a competitive fight, must admit though Ward vs Froch aint doing it for me, i like Froch and he tends to be in entertaining fights but ward is a cure for insomnia as is wlad but that fight off anyway!

Peterson's. He is just a good fighter.

Why this constant need to discredit fighters on every message board? It's ok to give one fighter credit without having to discredit the other.

Hector Camacho Jr. vs. Andrew 'Six Heads' Lewis

Fight of the century right there.

Luke warm for mainstream fans maybe but real boxing fans know this THE most significant fight of the year.

I agree. TS must not follow boxing very closely. Ward/Froch is a HUGE fight, and calling Lamont Peterson a "tomato can" is pure ignorance. There are only two consistent PPV stars in the sport, and they just fought around the same time.

Bottom line is that these next two weekends are GREAT for boxing fans.

Yeah, Peterson's got skills. I don't think he'll be able to beat Khan, but definitely ain't no tomato can.

Ward-Froch... if you ain't excited for this then somethings wrong with you. You could not like how Ward fights, but this match has been building up for some time now. They've proven to be the best in the division and are fighting for the right to be #1. Other division's should take note! (ahem welter and junior welter ahem!)
