This fight is a joke, just another Top Rank circus show. Chavez jr is a huge middleweight and Cotto is a small junior middle.


why doesn't Chavez fight one of his mandatories? if he's too scared of Martinez why not fight Rubio.

Chavez is a just a paper champ and Cotto deserves better then being in some kind of WWE spectacle. let Cotto fight Canelo if he wants to fight a Mexican

Of course there will be a catchweight. Cotto is a small jr.middleweight and chavez is now a big middleweight. The fight would be at 156/157. That's like saying if he fights Sergio it should be at 160. How fair is that?

If he gets stripped for not fighting Martinez, I do not see any reason Cotto should take the fight. No belt, no need to move up to 160, Cotto vs Canelo in 2012 is what Im digging.
