    Undefeated welterweight Mike Jones improved to 26-0 when he defeated Sebastian Lujan this past Saturday at Madison Square Garden in New York. The fight was an IBF eliminator which puts Jones in position to face number one rated Randall Bailey for the vacant welterweight title. The scores were 118-110 and 119-109 twice.         **** this fight. Bailey was useful like 5 years ago. COTTO used him as a stepping stone in like 2004 and kicked his ass.

          Jones needs to move up soon. He's preforming like a fighter that's outgrown WW. Its going to hurt him sooner than later.

              Jones will stay at welterweight because Arum might want to put him against Pacquiao in the future.


              Arum almost went though his stable and Pacquiao is running out of Top Rank guys to face.

                  Mike Jones gets a pass for now but he needs to pick up the level of opposition. Has beens like Lujan and Bailey won't cut it. I wasn't blown away by his performance last Saturday either. He looks the part but is missing something. Nothing special about him although he appears above average in every area.
