    yes.

    because of this

Hes punking bradley so bad. I used to be a bradley fan and Khan "borderlinehater". Now It's the complete opposite.

Also grew on me by being very honest and unbiased while commenting marquez vs pac. He later tried to damage control but i don't think that was by his own choice. Rather some management decision.

i personally am not an amir khan fan, the kid got skills though gotta admit it. im never gonna be the one going to his fights live, or trying to get autographed gloves, but if he beats peterson i will start believing in his hype. i thought zab coulda been the one to end him, he beat zab down made him quit, lets see if he can prove me wrong again
Peterson is tough and an athlete. Bradley had the luxury of sparring and knowing Peterson, khan doesn't so it will be tough. People underrate him and I definitely feel khan has to be at his best.

As for not liking him for your own reason, so be it.

I actually got no problem with his personality but I don't like his style. Way too simplistic : combinations-move-combinations-move, rinse and repeat for 12 rounds. He's very repetitive and predictable but is heralded as this supremely talented boxer which he isn't.

Exciting style, fights the best and wants to unify just what boxing needs.

This. I was still kinda on the fence with Amir due to me not liking his arrogance but seeing this made me a firm believer.

              Me too!

Ok so 90+ % of the replies are yes, but in the poll its pretty even. Can the haters explain themselves?

If not, I'll just presume its based on race.

I'm a fan not just because I'm a biased Brit, Khan is'nt scared of fighting the best and his vulnerability actually makes him kind of exciting to watch.

Well I guess it is simple but not so easy to do. Physically you need a lot and you need to confuse your opponent to do it for 12.

People say Hopkins is talented yet he does it all day long.

Hopkin's does it with one or two shots and moves or holds. He maintains his controls and speed pot shotting.

It takes a lot of skill and concentration to do it.

Khan has much to learn but is learning well.

He use to not hold on, but that saved him vs maidana.

He use to be all aggression and get caught, but now he is patient and has a higher guard.

                  His jab controls the fight.

He is learning to turn an opponent, roll with shots and uppercut.

His right is safer bit still quite hard.

His left hook to the body is there and body shots being used more.

His straight right is lacking but he may use it more I feel. His left hook isn't saying much either.

                  But he is learning.

No boxer is complete at 24 if ever. More should I say you need 30+ to be up there IMO.

Oh yeah I never said it was easy to do, you need great handspeed, footspeed and stamina and Khan has all three.

Hopkins has much more versatility than Khan, I can't believe you even mentioned him in a Khan discussion, like WTF?

Khan's style takes a lot of athletic ability no doubt but not a lot of skill. Skill means technique, something you're taught and on a pure technical level there's nothing impressive about Khan's fight game. Impressive speed and workrate but that's about it.

I think he's hard working, talented and has Britain on his shoulders when it comes to boxing.
